Ernie Higgins

Ernie Higgins, a San Diego native, has been working on surfboards since 1964. He has worked for Olympic Surfboards, Surfboards La Jolla, and Caster Surfboards. He was most influenced by Bill Caster. During his years in the surf industry, Ernie has built and owned retail stores and surfboard factories. He has learned to walk that thin line between art and industry, and concentrating on quality. Ernie's recent addition to the Gordon & Smith line up is the Noserider II and loves shaping Classic Long boards.
