Larry Mabile “Larmo”

We welcome back Larry Mabile…”Larmo”… to modernize our short and mid-range models especially the Fish.

Larmo grew up in Pacific Beach California , steeped in surf culture and started surfing in 1973. His first job in the

Surfboard industry was for Gordon & Smith in 1979 where he shaped and worked closely with Skip Frye.

Larmo continued with Gordon & Smith through the 80's and into the 90's. Larmo has worked with other Surfboard labels like Xanadu, Third World Exotic, and Kane Garden and we are now excited to have Larmo back at Gordon & Smith Custom Surfboards to bring his expert influence back into our Shaping Bay .
